Internationally renowned Professor of Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Philip Kotler, is the one, who in fact invented the word "marketing" both as a term and as an industry. Owners of leading international brands as well as governments of some countries are approaching him for professional consultation.

In March 2014 for the first time Philip Kotler handed out his own award in advertising and marketing industry "Kotler Award". This award was created in order to value and m
ark greatest personal achievements of professionals in communication business.

Main difference between Kotler Award and numerous other awards in the industry is the fact that it is not the most successful agency or campaign that gets an award, but a single personality. According to the vision of Philip Kotler, top managers of advertising, marketing and PR agencies, client companies (both products and services), public organizations as well as representative of governmental bodies have a chance to fight for the title of the best specialist in marketing and advertising. The number of applicants per company is unlimited. The Award's structure contains two blocks of categories and several special awards.

As being up to date is extremely important for any business, Philip Kotler has locked the timeframe for achievement on the basis of which the prize is awarded to one year.

This year «Kotler Award» will be held in Russia.

Professional achievements of the applicants are evaluated basing on 3 criteria on 10 point scale each:


Business innovations that influenced development of the agency, company and/or industry, most dynamic business development, new niche, idea, concept recognised by the industry.


Social significance of the activity.


Successful result of past year - launch of new product (service) and/or financial result.

Kotler Awards are open to all advertising agencies, advertisers, studios and production companies. The registration system will be open for entry submissions on October 1st, 2015. The official closing date for receipt of entries is November, 15th, 2015. All application must be submitted in English online. Igor has been involved in the sphere of communications since 1990 and made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian advertising and public relations industry. Igor started his career as an art director and CEO of METAPRESS agency. In 1993 he founded R.I.M. agency and since 2002 has been holding the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors at R.I.M. Porter Novelli. Igor is responsible for working out the strategic growth directions for the company and participates in implementation of key projects. Igor is a co-founder of the Russian Association of Advertising Agencies (presently ACAR) and served as its director from 1993 to 1996. In 1997, he founded a national award in PR and Communications, the Silver Archer, with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Journalists' Union and the Russian Public Relations Association. He has been the Chairman of the Award's Board of Trustees from its foundation until today. Igor Pisarsky was thrice awarded the title of the Media Manager of the Year in the following nominations: Contribution to Industry Development, PR Industry and Special Merit in the Development of Media Business. Igor is an architect by education. He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, Urban Development Faculty, in 1985. He went on to complete a doctorate with a thesis "The Use of Public Spaces in Central Moscow". He worked as an architect at Mosproekt-2 and taught design at the Moscow Institute of Architecture. Today Igor is a professor of the Higher School of Economics, author of several books and numerous articles and publications on the issues of the industry. Igor is a member of the Media Industries Associations Council, IAA, Higher Expert Council of the Russian Public Relations Association, as well as Vice-President of President of the Russian Communication Agencies Association. In 2000 he became academician of the Russian Advertising Academy. He has been a member of the Russian PR Academy since 2013.

Since 2012, Andrey has been a member of the Russian Advertising Academy. Throughout his career, Andrey has worked with brands such as Bosch, Siemens, NEFF, Parmalat, Rehau, Hyundai, President, Heinz, Bonduelle, Beeline, Meridian, Chery and Capital-Group.

Natalia graduated from the Finance Academy under the government of Russian Federation, has
completed MBA-General Management at London Kingston University and Wharton Business School Executive Course. An 18 year marketing and advertising professional, Natalya's career began in 1995 at the Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) agency where subsequently she became a Board Director. Before joining ADV in 2009, Natalya worked for Mars in various Brand Management positions. In her current position, Natalya is responsible for marketing services division at ADV and managing a portfolio of seven agencies Natalia is a Kotler Awards-2014 winner as one of the best top-managers who contributes to the industry development.
