Kotler Award is aiming to identify the best professionals in advertising and marketing in various countries. This is the award for the top-managers in the industry.

CATEGORIES

1. AGENCIES:

1.1. Agencies (Branding, TV, Radio, print media, outdoor);

1.2. Marceting services (Consumer marketing, Sales promotion, Direct Marketing , CRM, Event marketing, Sponsorship);

1.3. Digital and interactive marketing;

1.4. Public relations and affairs;

1.5. Production (Video and TV production, other advertising materials production, souvenirs).

2. BRANDS:

2.1. FMCG (cosmetics and perfumes, Medicine and pharmacology, Alcohol and tobacco);

2.2. SMCG (real estate, Auto, Moto etc., Fuel and Energy, Lux goods, audio and video, household appliances, entertainment products, products and toys for children, sports goods);

2.3. Communications (information agencies, media holdings, mass media and publishing houses);

2.4. Commercial services (travel, transport, hotels and entertainment, sport services (fitness), show business, banks, finance and insurance, office services, real estate, property development, telecom);

2.5. Non-profit services (advertising and marketing activities in the organizations not aiming to gain profit: charity, volunteering, social advertising, public, educational and governmental organizations, professional unions and associations).

3. MAN OF THE YEAR

The winner of this nomination is defined by the jury members and awarded to the person, who has, to the opinion of the jury, generated greatest input into the industry development. The candidates for this nomination are suggested by the members of jury.

4. SPECIAL NOMINATIONS could be added either on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the award, or on behalf of sponsors or partners.


Regulations for nominating the candidates and payments of the registration fee

Self-nominations are acceptable.
Nominations can be made by another person or company.

As long as the applicant meets the requirements to the candidates, anyone can apply for the Award.

Registration fee: 50 000 rubles

Registration fee for applying for the Kotler awards is 50 000 RUB per nomination (no VAT applicable).

Requirements to the candidates and evaluation criteria

1. Candidates are evaluated on 3 criteria: candidates applied in section 1 should be occupying top management position in advertising agency or its department, responsible for development and taking strategic and creative marketing and/or advertising decisions for the agency or for the brands, that are serviced by the agency.

2. Candidates applied in section 2 should be occupying:

a) Top management positions in the client companies and responsible for development and taking strategic and creative marketing and/or advertising decisions for their companies;
b) Chief editors, top management of media holdings, information agencies and publishing houses;
c) Top managers at public, educational or governmental organizations and/or their departments, responsible for development and taking strategic and creative marketing and/or advertising decisions for their organization.

3. Achievements, that are the reason for nominating, are limited in time from April 1st 2014 till September 1st 2015.

Candidates are evaluated on 3 criteria:

- Recognized by the industry business innovations that influenced development of the agency, company and/or industry; most dynamic business development; new niche, idea, concept;

- Social value of the activity;

- Positive result for the past year – launch of a new product (service) and/or financial result.

Jury regulations and evaluation criteria

1. Jury panel consists of 10 people:

a. 5 of them represented by worldwide experts and are recommended for participation by the Kotler awards company.
b. 5 of them are local experts and are recommended for participation by leading professional associations that support the award.


2. Candidates are evaluated on 3 criteria:

a. Recognized by the industry business innovations that influenced development of the agency, company and/or industry; most dynamic business development; new niche, idea, concept;
b. Social value of the activity;
c. Positive result for the past year – launch of a new product (service) and/or financial result.

3. Each member of Jury panel is working on-line on each of the criteria using 10 points scale.

4. After the voting is finished average score for each candidate in the category is calculated. The winner is the candidate who received most points. The score should be more than 5 points. In case none of the scores in the category goes above 5 points, the winner in this category is not awarded.

5. Organizational committee of the award is responsible for summarising all the results.

6. Following requests from the local participants the Jury has the right to exclude from the voting those candidates who provided false information on the applications .


AWARD CEREMONY

Results of voting shall be announced at the Award Ceremony.
Winners of the Award must produce a 45 minutes speech at one of the events conducted by Kotler Awards Ltd company between December 4th 2015 and December 4 2016.

DATES

Applications are open from October 1 2015 till November 15 2015.
The award Ceremony is taking place December 4th (3rd) 2015.
